Meet the Staff!
We are pleased to introduce you to our Physician Assistant, Kennedy Salerno, MS, PA-C.
Kennedy began her journey into health care in Upstate New York, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in human biology from the University at Albany. Relocating to South Carolina in 2019, she excelled at MUSC Physician Assistant Studies, graduating summa cum laude in 2021.
Kennedy began her career in emergency services, but swiftly transitioned to a family medicine setting, delving deeper into endocrinology and hormone replacement. Recognizing her true passion for hormone therapy, she believes in the importance of individualized care plans, acknowledging that each patient is unique and not defined by mere lab results. Her philosophy is rooted in the understanding that health is not just a physical state, but a holistic blend of mind, body, and spirit.
Kennedy is deeply committed to promoting health and wellness. An avid athlete from an early age, she embraced competitive sports as an integral part of her life. With a decade of immersed experience in competitive sports, she notably assumed the role as team captain of her Division II college soccer team as only a sophomore. In more recent years, she ventured into strength sports, developing an initial love for powerlifting and now bodybuilding. She understands the vital role hormones play in achieving optimal health and understands the importance of the synergy between hormones, physique and vitality.
