Benefits of Blood Tests
1. Monitor Your Health
Blood tests are useful for tracking your health, whether it’s during your annual physical or when you’re not feeling well. They can help detect underlying issues and guide treatment.
2. Quick Diagnosis
Blood work is fast, often providing results within a few days. This allows for a quick diagnosis and treatment plan or reassurance if nothing is wrong.
3. Detects Many Conditions
Your blood carries enzymes, hormones, and chemicals throughout your body. Because of this, blood tests can check for a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
4. Prevent Disease
Blood tests can show changes that increase the risk of certain diseases, allowing you to take preventive action before it becomes a serious issue.
5. Helps in Treatment
Blood work not only confirms a diagnosis but also monitors how well treatments are working to manage or cure the condition. If you are using hormone replacement therapy, it’s recommended to check blood work every 8-12 weeks when starting or adjusting treatment. Follow up labs can be done at longer intervals depending on biofeedback and patient need.
Unlock the Full Power of
GLP-1/GIP Medications with Lifestyle Boosts!
GLP-1 receptor agonists like semaglutide and tirzepatide help with weight loss but need lifestyle changes for lasting results. Combining these medications with resistance training, adequate protein, balanced caloric intake, and hydration enhances their benefits. Working with health coaches or dietitians provides personalized guidance, promoting sustainable weight loss and overall well-being.
Meet the Staff!
We are excited to introduce you to our patient coordinator, Jennie Knopf
Jennie has spent most of her life in the Cincinnati, OH area. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Kentucky University with her Bachelors of Science in Finance. She helped her husband build and run their own business for the last 5 years and previously worked with Fifth Third Bank before wanting to find something of her own again.
Jennie’s love for fitness and lifting began in high school when she did track and field. After high school she became a personal trainer at a local gym and loved helping people achieve their own personal goals. When she finished her first competition she began dealing with health issues and autoimmune diseases. This began her almost 10 year journey into functional medicine and finding the root cause of issues. Jennie was actually a patient of AVH before joining the team as a Patient Care Coordinator.
When not helping patients at AVH Jennie is a wife and mother to 3 boys. She homeschools all her children and they play multiple sports, so her life is always on the go. When not at some field they enjoy hiking with their German Shepherd, spending time with family and going to church.
Jennie is thankful to be working with a company who puts patients first, but also values their employees and appreciates all the different ideas everyone has to offer. It is truly a blessing to be a patient and an employee.
